SVP Jeffersonian Dinner Featuring Execs Evolve

Please join SVP Boulder County for an intimate dinner where Partners, staff and guests participate in a group conversation featuring SVP's Execs Evolve program. Execs Evolve is an affordable, nine-month executive coaching program for nonprofit directors, provided by SVP Partners. Program participants and guests will learn more about Execs Evolve and discuss its role in the nonprofit community.

About SVP’s Jeffersonian Dinners:

Jeffersonian Dinners are structured gatherings where attendees explore a specific topic while dining together in a friendly setting. Join SVP hosts as they invite small groups of 8-12 attendees to gather, share a family-style meal, and learn more about the ways SVP does our work. Participants will gather, informally greet others in attendance then dive into a structured conversation, with the host setting the stage and offering questions to kick off a lightly facilitated group discussion. For this October 5th session, we’ll share in a meaningful conversation about SVP Execs Evolve. The group will learn more about Execs Evolve, its impact in our community, and how SVP supports their critical work.

A History of the Tradition:

The tradition of a Jeffersonian Dinner began at the home of Thomas Jefferson in the late 1800’s. A man of many talents and with a deep curiosity about the world around him, Jefferson was to known to invite thought leaders and influencers of his time from a range of backgrounds and fields– whether it be the arts, sciences, current affairs, philosophy or literature — to share in conversation and debate on a particular topic. By engaging in a single conversation, with only one person speaking at a time, Jefferson and his guests were able to unlock the power of their collective wisdom. The purpose was simple: to listen, learn, and inspire one another through meaningful dialogue around a particular topic.
